Jarryd Hayne still being paid by Eels

Despite having not played NRL since the 2014 season, Jarryd Hayne is reportedly still a part of Parramatta's financials.

According to Fairfax Media, the Eels are paying Hayne at least $50,000 in 2015 as the two-time Dally M medallist prepares to play NFL for the San Francisco 49ers.

The situation was uncovered as part of routine reporting although the amount does not count toward the salary cap.

Parramatta has been embroiled in a series of salary cup breaches recently with the club being fined by $525,000 by the NRL.

Hayne has been linked the salary cap issues with a $15,000 airfare to the USA on the list of breaches the Eels have been accused of committing.
